Mr Wilson’s Second Liners Podcast

Sonya

Welcome to the brave new world of Mr. Wilson’s Second Liners Podcast.

Our first series is titled “Promised Land”, and consists of 5 episodes, curated and sound tracked by  the extended Mr Wilson’s family.

The journey of these podcasts began in February 2020 as a new way to reach and prepare audiences for our large-scale live show, Promised Land. However since the dawn of the Covid 19 Pandemic, we soon realised that the interview content had taken on a new resonance.  In the cold light of so many live event cancellations, we’d like to send you these audio ballads; a nostalgic love note to the joys of live music and congregating as a tribe.

The first 5 episodes will be released on 5 consecutive days from the 20th – 24th July 2020. Each episode is a party pilgrimage into the 90’s and an opportunity to get up close and personal with our own memories.

The interviews were conducted by Sonya Moorhead and each podcast was edited and produced by Will Lenton. The theme tune was arranged and recorded by Architects of Rosslyn.

We also received support from the Arts Council’s Emergency Response Fund during this time.  Our ACE funding helped to support the musicians during lockdown and to pay for the production of the series.
